In Poland, Ukrainian women are cared for who have had to leave their homeland to take their children to safety. Many of them lost their homes, loved ones and dreamed future. And today, more than ever, they need support to be able to live on and continue to care for themselves and their children.
In Warsaw, a "Club for Ukrainian Mothers and Children" has been set up at the Rembertów House of Culture, where volunteers hold free classes so that IDPs can be distracted a bit and return their childhood to their children.
We want children to enjoy time with us, playing games, drawing, singing and dancing, and their parents to be able to drink coffee and talk to each other.
The program includes a variety of workshops, board and moving games, lots of smiles and open hearts.
And while the baby is having fun, mothers have the opportunity to get to know each other and chat over tea or coffee. An interpreter is present at the meetings, so you don't have to worry about the language barrier.
Classes are held every Tuesday from 16:00 to 18:00
