A hotline for those who are affected by the war has started working in Ukraine. Help will be provided by professional psychologists.
The project of free psychological assistance is implemented by the National Association of Psychologists of Ukraine. This was reported by the EU Neighbors East resource.
Specialists will help
The useful initiative is financed by the European Union. Technical support is provided by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
All psychologists working on the line are trained and know how to deal with crisis situations. Help will be provided by qualified specialists with many years of work experience.
"We can only imagine what the citizens of Ukraine feel when faced with such atrocities. But what we can do is to intensify and expand our efforts so that every Ukrainian, wherever he is, can at least receive timely and professional psychological help", – said Martin Schroeder, head of the local and human development department of the EU Representation in Ukraine.
It will be possible to communicate with video
It will be possible to receive help in the following formats: audio and video. If you want to communicate via video, just ask the psychologist to set up a video connection.
