Ukrainian businesses are offered the opportunity to receive micro-grants within the framework of the "EU4Business: recovery, competitiveness and internationalization of SMEs" program.

Who is this opportunity for?


This is a chance for businesses that want to resume their economic activity. Funds can be used for:

  • transfer of enterprise property;

  • purchase of raw materials and materials;

  • payment of wages;

  • rent;

  • financing the cost of purchasing goods, works and services;

  • other business expenses.

Importantly! Microgrant funds do not cover VAT (value added tax). His businesses must pay with their own funds.

How the winners will be determined


Those who will receive grants will be determined automatically. For this, the basis will be a comparison of the company's activity indicators before the war and after the start of a full-scale invasion.


Therefore, entrepreneurs do not need to provide any calculations or business plans.


Entrepreneurs can receive funds through 2 authorized banks: Oschadbank and PrivatBank.

How to apply


To do this, you need to go to the portal of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund. There you will find a detailed procedure for submitting a grant application.

Importantly! Before submitting an application, an entrepreneur must clearly know what he will use the grant funds for.

Deadlines and conditions


The selection of participants takes place from September 2 to September 30, 2024.


Enterprises operating in the regions most affected by the war can participate: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kyiv (except the city of Kyiv), Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Odesa and Kherson.


The winners will be determined according to the following criteria:

  • level of damage from war;

  • type of economic activity;

  • quality of use of grant funds;

  • whether the enterprise is located in the de-occupied territory;

  • do veterans and people with disabilities work there.
