Win a mini-grant for media NGOs

Apply for a grant from the Institute of Regional Press and Information (IRMI) and Fondation Hirondelle (Switzerland).


Public Space reports on the opportunity for Ukrainian NGOs.


The mini-grant competition was created specifically for those public organizations whose activities are aimed at supporting journalists, developing the media and improving media literacy.

Who can participate?

  • officially registered and active Ukrainian NGOs are invited to participate;

  • those public organizations whose mission is to support media development, media literacy, and promote access to information;

  • NGOs with a network of connections provide professional support to journalists and have an action plan.


Details of participation

  1. Projects must start on August 1 and be implemented within 2 months.


  2. The size of the grants is 4,000 Swiss francs (grants are issued in hryvnias).


  3. Those NGOs that will receive a grant must participate in institutional capacity building training from a team of experts.


How to apply for a grant

Submission deadline: July 25, 2024. Apply via the link. Selected participants will be notified by July 29. You will find a link to the budget in the application form.
